FYP PROGRESS 2 - WEEK 9

Title of activity

-   Assemble automatic gate control system on project board

Objective

1.  Start build the project

2.  Build the electric train traction overhead line.

Content





Servo motor will open and closed as the train detected by the infrared sensor. the arduino onboard of the train will turned on when the voltage flow from the overhead line through the it and flow into arduino which will make the ultrasonic function and relay function

FYP PROGRESS 2 - WEEK 8

Title of activity

-   Survey the project landscape's material

Objective

1. To find good material for project's environment and landscape

2. Produce flock which make from sawdust and acrylic paint/dye

Content






Above material was found at weststar shop near achik printing at taman melawati, but the flock grass are not found here, only grass static is availabel.




Thus, i make my own flock which represent the grass and terrain, its were make from sawdust and some paint (acrylic type). The fish pond were made from clay and aluminium with some rock. The water inside it still not decide yet.

FYP PROGRESS 2 - WEEK 7

Title of activity

-   Testing the function of obstacle avoidance on track and attend FYP 2 briefing by Sir Kanendra Naidu

Objective

1.  Reduce train weight as it effect the train performance

2. FYP 2 briefing is about FYP Report Writing Skills which Sir Kanendra Naidu talk about Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 Final Report.

Content




The relay position are on the bottom of train to minimize the space. the relay will trigger and stop the flow of voltage / connection for battery inside the train, thus the train will stop as the obstacle detected.

1.  To make train stop when it detecting any obstacle in front of the train.
